The Sno*Melter system uses highly efficient heating cables formed into mats that install quickly and economically. They are placed about 2" below the surface of asphalt, under pavers, or in concrete, and connect up to standard 240 voltage. Sno*Melter Step mats are available 2-step or 3-step models, in 3' and 6' lengths with 8" widths. Accommodates 8" risers.

Sno*Melter mats are more effective than traditional snow removal methods, and have no moving parts. Properly installed, mats normally provide trouble-free service as long as the pavement or concrete in which they are embedded is not disturbed or damaged. Electric mat provide reliable, convenient snow melting.

Special Order Sno*Melter Step mats are available in 208 VAC, 240 VAC, 277 VAC, 347 VAC, 480 VAC (Note: 480 VAC not available for 2-Step 3'x8" model). Please contact customer service for pricing and availability.

CAUTION: Mats installed in poured concrete must not cross expansion or control joints.
