Sno*Melter Mats
No More
Shoveling, Salting, or Plowing!
Some of
the most
unpleasant winter weather conditions are caused by snow, ice and
freezing rain. Not only dangerous, exterior surfaces typically
need to be cleared by plowing, shoveling or chemically treating
walkways and other surfaces. Often, these "remedies" can
produce damaging effects on property, and are typically unreliable,
time consuming and costly.

to ensure a
clear, dry pavement, consider Sno*Melter by Easy Heat.
Snow melter mats and controllers create
an automatic electric system that melts snow and freezing rain on
contact, reducing the inevitable costs and potentially damaging effects
of traditional snow removal methods. UL Listed, Sno*Melter is
highly
efficient and considerably more economical than most other snow and ice
removal methods, since it only operates for relatively short periods of
time each winter. EasyHeat Sno*Melter mats can be installed in a
variety of
applications, including driveways, ramps, walkways, entry ways,
sidewalks, patios, loading docks, stairs, and outdoor kitchens.
Sno Melter mats are installed about 2" below the surface of asphalt, under pavers, or in concrete, and connect up to standard 240 voltage. At 50 Watts/Sqft., Sno*Melter mats are stocked in widths of
18" or 30", and lengths of up to 30 feet. All mats are
supplied with
20' cold leads as standard. With the use of specialized snow melting controllers and magnetic contactors, multiple mat and zone systems can be designed.
For stair tread
applications,
specifically designed Easy Heat Sno*Melter Step mats are also available in 240
Volt at 50 Watts/Sqft., and stocked in 3' or 6' tread widths
with 8"
risers. Steps mats are supplied with 10' cold leads
standard.
